Black Forest Kennel of the High Plains We hunt more wild quail than any other Pointing Labrador Kennel! BLACK FOREST HIGH PLAINS BEAR JH Bear is a beautiful black female out of solid field trial lines. Notable dogs in her pedigree include her Grandsire on the top side 2X NAFC FC Ebonstar Lean Mac and on the bottom side of her pedigree her Grandsire is NFC AFC Storms Riptide Star. Although Bear is not out of normal pointing lines, she has produced several Certified Pointing Retrievers, and a multiple Grandmaster Pointing Retriever. Bear threw ten pups in her last litter and all ten pointed at seven weeks old. She has had pups go into training as drug detection dogs, therapy dogs and hunt test dogs speaking volumes for her ability to throw very trainable and versatile pups.
