Black Forest Kennel of the High Plains We hunt more wild quail than any other Pointing Labrador Kennel! BLACK FOREST HIGH PLAINS APR CP RANCE Rance is our upcoming yellow stud dog. He is out of 4x GMPR HRCH Black Forest's Bear Grits MH and CP Zado MH. Rance is 66 pounds of upland hunting desire! At barely two years old, he has hunted wild bobwhite, blue and Gamble's quail, pheasant, dove, and waterfowl. He hunts more wild quail than any other Pointing Lab stud dog we are aware of in the entire nation! Rance is currently at home for the upcoming hunting season. He has several hunts planned this fall in front of TV camera's and outdoor writers. We will also take him to Arizona for a Mearn's quail hunt. Then after a long hunting season, he will return to Gunclub Labradors to continue his work towards his GMPR title and beyond.
