CP KCK'S TSAH-DOE KONE-GYAH MH "ZADO"

Zado (pronounced zah-doe) gets her name from the Kiowa Indians that once called the land we hunt home. Tsah-Doe is the Kiowa word for prairie dog and Kone-Gyah means black, so this translates into Black Prairie Dog. Zado is a talented little 52-pound package of drive and desire. Everything she does is done at one speed... FAST. This trait caused her trainer, Paul Knutson, to nickname her "Zay Doe the Tornado".

Zado has marking, trainability, and point all rolled into one package. This comes from her breeding which mixed the great pointing bloodlines of her mother GMPR HRCH Bonker John's Black Dog Kate MH QAA, with the outstanding field trial lines from her sire FC AFC Fordland's Bored Out Ford. As a result of the great abilities she inherited from her parents, Zado has competed in AKC derbies, Quals, and Master hunt tests. She has also competed in APLA hunt tests as well as having ran in the open pointing division at the Kansas State Pheasant Championships against all pointing breeds. Zado is the complete package, and has passed it on to her offspring. Several of them have become Certified Pointers, Advanced Pointing Retrievers, and will be running APLA Master levels this fall.

Aside from her competitive career, she is hunted each fall for quail, pheasant, dove, and waterfowl. This is her number one passion.
